V2.0.0 Core Rule Documents The RoboMaster University Series includes the University Championship (RMUC) and the University League (RMUL). The Organizing Committee publishes the following core rule documents: • Rules Manual • Participant Manual • Robot Building Specifications Manual • Communication Protocol Always refer to the most recent versions officially released by the RoboMaster Organizing Committee. Rule Q&A To make the rule documents easier to understand and to keep the competition running smoothly, the RoboMaster Organizing Committee provides a dedicated Rule Q&A channel. Here you can find clarifications and additional explanations to the official documents. If teams or other participants have questions about the rules, they can submit them through the links below. The RoboMaster Organizing Committee will review and respond, with updates posted regularly. • 2026 Season Rule Q&A Channel: https://qingflow.com/f/c5rf6rkkbs02 • 2026 Season Rule Q&A Collection: https://qingflow.com/appView/c5rf6rkkbs02/shareView/c5rf6slgbs02 Rule Q&A has the same validity as the rule documents. If any discrepancies arise, the most recent version of either the Rule Q&A or the official rule documents shall prevail. Each season’s Q&A applies only to that season. Response Timeline • During the competition period: responses within 1 calendar day • During the preparation period: responses within 5 working days Definitions: • Competition Period: from the event’s check-in day to the final competition day of that event. • Preparation Period: outside competition period. Note: Competition periods and preparation periods for different events and event stages are calculated separately. Document Updates & Revisions During the preparation period, the RoboMaster Organizing Committee may update the rule documents as needed. During the competition period, to provide participating teams with ample opportunity to display their technical prowess, documents may be updated at certain checkpoints, but robot structure requirements will remain unchanged. Adjustments may occur after: • The conclusion of a regional competition • The completion of a stage in the Wild Card or Final Tournament (e.g., end of Group Stage or Round of 16) When interpreting the rules, always refer to the latest version of the documents and Rule Q&A. If discrepancies exist, the Rule Q&A will note them explicitly, and the documents will be revised in subsequent updates. Revision logs only summarize major updates. For detailed changes, teams are advised to use PDF comparison tools. Version Numbering Rule documents adopt a semantic versioning format X.Y.Z, defined as follows: • X: Updates for competition stages (Regional = 1, Final = 2; the year is shown in the file name and cover) • Y: Major changes to mechanisms or arenas (e.g., changes in exchange rules, robot attributes) • Z: Minor corrections that do not affect mechanisms or arenas (e.g., typo fixes, clearer wording, corrected diagrams) Examples: V1.0.0 → First release for the Regional Competition V1.1.0 → Regional version with updated competition mechanisms V1.1.1 → Regional version with minor typo corrections V2.0.0 → First release for the Final Tournament with mechanism updates
